Substance Abuse Treatment programs are funded through a contract with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (DASA). Programs focus on individuals and families who suffer from the consequences of substance abuse or addiction and who are representative of low income, indigent or specialized populations.
Treatment programs are available for adults, youth, pregnant and parenting women, and people with co-occurring disorders (substance abuse and mental health issues).
The services offered by our System of Care Providers include:
- Outreach and Education
- Chemical Dependency Assessment
- Mental Health Assessment
- Screening for Co-Occurring Disorders
- Sub-Acute Detoxification
- Sobering Services
- ADATSA Program Treatment and Stipend
- Individual and Group Therapy
- Outpatient Treatment Services
- Inpatient Treatment Services
- Court Ordered Treatment Services
- Involuntary Treatment Services
- Interim Services
- Support services such as childcare, travel, mental health treatment, housing, access to health care, recovery care, etc.
If you are low income and in need of treatment in Spokane, you can start the treatment process by;
- Asking to speak to the Substance Abuse Outreach Worker at any DSHS Community Service Office or at the Division of Children and Family Services Office.
- Being admitted to Community Detox of Spokane for detoxification services and linkage to treatment programs at 477-4631
