About us
King County Mental Health, Chemical Abuse and Dependency Services Division (MHCADSD) is responsible for developing strategies and allocating public resources to address community needs for substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery. Planning for substance abuse services is overseen by the King County Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Administrative Board, a voluntary oversight body composed of concerned citizens, including consumers. MHCADSD provides street outreach, sobering support, and involuntary treatment services and contracts with community-based providers for detoxification, inpatient and outpatient treatment services . Our Mission
To improve the qualify of life in King County by providing services and supports to individuals, families and communities affected by mental illness and/or substance abuse or chemical dependence.
